Junior Golf & High School

Elliott began playing golf at two years old and began playing tournament golf at six years old. He was the runner-up in the 2005 Drive, Chip, and Putt National Championship and was named the Western North Carolina Junior Golf Association's Player of the Year in 2004, 2007, and 2009. In total, Elliott won 64 junior golf tournaments including; the 2009 AAU Golf National Championship, the 2010 Starburst Junior Classic, the 2011 Old North State Championship, and the 2013 AJGA Preseason Junior at St. James Plantation. 

At Shelby High School, Elliott was named the South Mountain Athletic Conference's Player of the Year in 2011, 2013, and 2014. He helped Shelby win the 2013 NCHSAA 2A West Regionals. 

Amateur Golf & College

Elliott competed in the 2018 Amateur Championship in Aberdeen Scotland, the 2019 Amateur Championship in Portmarnock, Ireland, and the 2019 United States Amateur Championship in Pinehurst, North Carolina. 

At the University of Akron, Elliott finished his college career with four top-5 finishes and 22 top-25s. His career-low score in college was 64, tying the lowest round to par in Akron program history. He earned MAC All-Conference awards twice. He was named the conference's Player of the Week five times in his career. 

Professional Golf & Career

Elliott made his PGA Tour LatinoAmerica debut on March 5th, 2020 in the 2020 Estrella del Mar Open in Mazatlan, Mexico. 

He fired a career-low 66 in the 2nd Round of the 2020 Puerto Plata Open in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. 

Elliott holds the course record at the Cleveland Country Club in Shelby, North Carolina. He shot a 63 on June 19th, 2015 & most recently on November 26th, 2020. Elliott was the first player to shoot 63 after the course switched to Bermuda greens in 2010, and is the only player in the course's history to record multiple rounds of 63 or better.
